Our Story
Storm King Wine Co handcraft small batches of wines using a fusion of old and new world techniques from both noble and emerging varieties.
Ray and Jen Costanzo, created Storm King Wine Co. in 2021, named after the beautiful area where we live, Storm King. A combination of over 20 years of winemaking experience and a passion for wines that are just a little left of centre result in wines that are worth savouring.
Made in the family winery at Ballandean, extended contact with skins, natural ferments, hand plunging, basket pressing and minimal filtrations are some of the techniques we use to make wines full of texture and flavour.
Locally grown grapes, Australian made bottles and cardboard, recyclable tape for cartons, recycled paper, even our labels are sustainably produced and contain a portion of grape waste. We will continue to make positive changes for our environment.
Why? Because a good planet is hard to find.
Where is Storm King?
We make our wine on the beautiful Kambuwal Country (Granite Belt). Our head office is located at Storm King and our winemaking facility is a short drive away at Ballandean.
Storm King is located only about 3 hours from Brisbane and 4 hours from Byron Bay and the Sunshine Coast.
